COVID-19 Global Tracker

Note: This application was developed to track the spread of COVID-19 during the early stages of the pandemic. As data sources change and hosting services hibernate, the live link may be intermittent.

Project Overview

This project utilizes R Shiny and Flexdashboard to create a responsive, interactive visualization of the COVID-19 outbreak. Key features included:

• Real-time Data Ingestion: Pulling data from Johns Hopkins University repositories.
• Geospatial Visualization: Interactive maps displaying infection rates by region.
• Trend Analysis: Time-series plots showing the curve of confirmed cases, recoveries, and fatalities.
